To a large extent is my artistry an intuitively based knowledge searching relational process that in the details and exceptions of the everyday life are looking for broader understanding, new ways of thinking and alternative beliefs about the world than those mediated and reproduced by the systems of society. One could also talk about the practice as some kind of basic research.
In society where different intertwined forms of power influence our beliefs about ourselves, each other and the world, fundamental human abilities such as seeing, hearing and speaking are today directly related to concepts such as power and value.
Aesthetic experiences are important to society's self-understanding and development, and in my opinion, art carries the power to broaden perceptions of life, norms and human experiences.
