ABOUT

BIOGRAPHY

Anna-Lena (b. 1974) lives and works in Stockholm. Through sound, video, and installation, she explores the invisible structures that shape communication, perception, and belonging—how signals, energy, and vibrations move across boundaries, how we navigate them—both physical and emotional—and how they influence our sense of inclusion or exclusion, sometimes seamlessly, sometimes with resistance. With an abstract yet tactile expression, she works with light, movement, and sound in fragmented forms, often grounded in presence and repetition. The driving force behind her work is the exploration of transitions—where boundaries shift, signals break, or flows change.

Jaktlund has among other places shown her work at 61. International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Germany, Syros International Film Festival, Greece, Västerås Konstmuseum, Zita Folkets Bio, Tensta Konsthall, Konsthall C, Pannrummet, The Spanish Institute in Stockholm, Botkyrka Konsthall in Tumba, Tensta Träff in Tensta, Edsviks Konsthall East in Sollentuna and at Galleri Fisk in Bergen.
