Anna-Lena Jaktlund (b. 1974) is a Stockholm-based artist working at the intersection of the digital and the bodily. She is educated at Konstfack and in media and communication science.
She works with moving image, photography, sound and installation, often starting from small events or deviations within everyday technology and image-based systems. By attending to how technology behaves in relation to the gaze, the body and listening, she explores how experiences of time and space emerge and shift.
Her work operates in the space between observation and experience, where the image is understood as something unfolding rather than something representing.
Jaktlund has exhibited her work internationally and in Sweden, including at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Västerås Konstmuseum and Tensta Konsthall, and is represented by Filmform.
